Ms. Marianne “Maan” B. Hontiveros had been a student and youth travel pioneer, a television producer and host, broadcast journalist, publishing executive, multi-media production and corporate communications entrepreneur, music industry managing director, staunch advocate for the conservation and protection of the environment, and a passionate promoter and supporter of Filipino arts, film, dance, music, and culture before establishing Philippines AirAsia, Inc. as Founding President and CEO in March 2011. Three years later, she served as Board Chair until September 2019.

She is currently a Partner and Managing Director of CEO Advisors, Inc. and serves as Independent Director at Fibercom Telecoms, Bamacom, and Maroev. She is a Founding Member of the Filipina CEO Circle, an Independent Director of Calatagan Golf Club, Inc., a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors, and a member and past-Governor and Board Secretary of the Management Association of the Philippines.

Ms. Marianne Hontiveros remains active in several boards of non-profit organizations advocating environmental protection and sustainable development, arts, and culture: Ballet Philippines Foundation, Inc. (Trustee and Board Vice-Chair), Manila Symphony Orchestra Foundation, Inc. (President and Board Member), Reef Check Conservation Society, Inc. (Board Chair), and Journalism for Nation Building Foundation, Inc. (Board Member).
