Fibercom Strengthens Partnership with IECEP as Institutional Partner for 2026
Fibercom is proud to announce its recognition as an Institutional Partner of the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) for 2026. The recognition was formally presented during the 75th IECEP Annual General Meeting and Convention (GM75), held from November 6–8, 2025 at The SPACE at One Ayala, Makati City. Fibercom’s presence at the three-day event allowed the company to engage with industry leaders, showcase its commitment to the engineering community, and strengthen ties with IECEP’s nationwide network of professionals.
Highlights of the Convention
- Grand Opening & Gala Night (Nov 6): Keynote speeches from Undersecretary David L. Almirol (DICT) and Atty. Charito A. Zamora (PRC Chairman), plenary sessions on “75 Years and Beyond” and “Silicon – The Blueprint of Innovation,” and the prestigious Gala Night with awards for IECEP Fellows and Service Pin recipients.
- Technical Sessions (Nov 7): In-depth discussions on Industrial Security, The Future of Workspaces, and Back to Basics, complemented by a keynote from Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado (CESB Chair).
- AGM & Oath-Taking (Nov 8): Awarding of Best Chapters and 10 Outstanding ECEs, the PRB-ECE Forum, Annual General Membership Meeting, and the Oath-Taking of the 2026 IECEP National Officers and Directors.
Theme: Beyond 75 Years of Excellence
The convention’s theme, “Beyond 75 Years of Excellence: Electronics Engineering Pioneering Innovative Pathways to a Sustainable Future,” highlighted IECEP’s dedication to innovation, professional development, and sustainability.
